Clinical ScienceClinical Science applies scientific knowledge to the assessment, understanding, and amelioration of psychopathology. This discipline integrates empiricism and application to address clinical concerns. Faculty in this area have clinical training, and they work toward developing an empirical knowledge base in the field. Research in this area aims to contribute knowledge to the understanding, treatment and prevention of psychological problems.
